John Thorpe
Group Managing Director
John has been instrumental in the development of Thorpes Joinery, building the firm into one of the most reputable specialist joinery contractors in the market.
As Group Managing Director John provides strategic overview and support, aiding the business within a market that he knows well.
Hamish Anderson
Director
After working in the industry for over a decade, Hamish founded Campbell Contracts in 2008, and has continued to build up a formidable reputation within the industry, growing the business into a strong brand with experience across multiple disciplines.
In his role as MD, Hamish remains the driving force of the business, ensuring that we continue to deliver a top-class service for our clients as we further develop and grow.
John Collier
Director
Since founding Merchant Contracts in 2013, naming the company after one of his favourite London ‘landmarks’, John has gone on to grow the company substantially, utilising his wealth of product and technical knowledge to secure and deliver contracts of £500k plus.
John’s extensive experience within the flooring industry makes him ideally placed to assist main contractors and designers to specify the ideal product for a project, and in doing so he has maintained strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.
In his role at Thorpes Flooring John will continue to oversee projects, provide advice to clients and keep health and safety at the forefront.
Estimating & Administration Manager
Since Joining in 2017 Laura discovered a keen interest in estimating and her strong attention to detail has seen her progress into a managerial position within the department.
Laura is on hand to provide budget advice and accurate, timely quotations for our clients.
H&S Document Manager
17 years in the flooring industry, starting in an administrative role before discovering a passion for Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the industry.
Sarah’s qualifications and experience allow her to oversee our Health, Safety with the utmost care and attention.
Project Manager
James has 11 years experience in the industry, progressing through the ranks from installations, to contracts manager.
His skillset is perfectly suited to delivering projects on time, in budget whilst ensuring H&S, quality and environmental standards are adhered to.

Thorpes Joinery are a family business of over 70 years, with 4 generations working within the company as it grew from a small workshop into a multi-million pound joinery firm.
This family aspect is inherent throughout the company, and is clearly visible in the approach of those that make our business what it is.
